The Chipmunk Creamer and Sugar has been in continuous production since 1954 with virtually no changes. This is a superb matching set, made contemporaneously and kept together for six decades. Both are in deep Seagull Blue glaze and date from the 1960s. Both have a heavy clay body and heavy glazing, resulting in a thick sag around the bottom. Matching signatures of Mrs. Carsten. Lustrous surface with light signs of use. Creamer 3.5” height, sugar 4” length.
