This early style of sgraffito decoration was used on a few pieces in the early 1980s, and this example is dated 1981. This broad style of edge-to-edge bud-and-leaf decoration was later replaced by a wide band of ivy design. This was the work of Peter Pots potter Janet Pinsonnault and this piece was signed and dated by her. This piece also bears the clear Peter Pots label used at the time. About 11” in diameter, 3.5” tall. A very rare example. Perfect and glossy as-new condition and rings like a bell.
