Janet Pinsonneault was a RISD graduate and longtime potter at Peter Pots, working from the early 1960s through the early 1990s. She created wheel-thrown items that were displayed and sold in the showroom. Most of her pieces are glazed in matte gray with Seagull Blue details and signed Jan / P. Pots, as is this pitcher from the 1960s. The brown peeking through the blue-gray color is typical of this glaze. This is a substantial, heavy-bodied example measuring 5.5” in height. Being wheel-thrown, it is unique. Perfect, unused condition.
