The Peter Pots Herb Jar was designed to do two things: to hold dried herbs and to function as a mortar and pestle to grind them. The back of the car is unglazed and with a hollow mortar, and the stopper has an unglazed dome that serves as the pestle. These were made in the 1980s and 90s. This one is in Seagull Blue with a sgraffito leaf decoration. Perfect condition, 4.5” height.
