Early Hostess Pitcher Variant
Early Hostess Pitcher Variant
$98.00
The Hostess Pitcher was first introduced in 1957 and is still part of the Peter Pots line nearly seven decades later. The early pitchers had a half-round handle rather than the peaked handle they have at present. This example is from about 1960 and is unique in that it has a flared top opening without the pronounced curled edge that defines the pouring spout. A nice early example in Mahogany Brown glaze, 8.5" height.
