There are a lot of these around, especially in Mahogany Brown, but few have magnificent glaze like these two. When the brown glaze was applied heavily, it would sometimes puddle with the white and form aqua “pearls” at the transition. This pair is a lovely example of this, with pearls large and small. Made sometime in the mid to late 1960s, these have retained a lustrous, as-new surface. The Bread Tray measures 15.5” by 6.25” and the Celery Tray is 13” by 3.75”.
